La Rosa Landscape transforms ordinary into extraordinary with award-winning designs

Award-winning landscaping isn’t just about designing and installing patios, plantings, pools and pergolas. There’s an art to it; it transforms ordinary spaces into extraordinary and elegant settings for relaxation and entertainment.

Gold Award – Old Settler’s Park

We’re thrilled to receive this year’s Gold Award from the Wisconsin Masonry Alliance (WMA) for our contribution to the West Bend community. Old Settler’s Park, the city’s downtown square, was showing the effects of generations of use. It was long overdue for revitalization. After a lengthy planning process, La Rosa crews got to work by replacing the deteriorating gazebo and concrete walls with a covered performance area, new walls, re-graded elevations, walking paths, and a large courtyard for music-goers and the entire community to enjoy for years to come.

Silver Award – The Spielbauer residence

Our team also won the Silver Award from the Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association (WLCA). The winning Brookfield project, which was completed over the course of three years, resulted in a front and back yard design of the utmost cohesion.

During phase one, we built a cedar deck in the back yard, complete with two pergolas, an outdoor kitchen, an island, and an adjacent Bluestone paver patio. During phase two, we incorporated the same pavers in the front walkway and addressed nearby elevation issues with a dry stack wall. One year later, we added plantings and lighting throughout the front and back yards, adding to the ambiance for this special getaway right outside the owner’s door.

Silver Award – The Ancher-Jensen residence

The WLCA awarded us a second Silver Award for transforming a small Cedarburg back yard into a remarkable retreat full of surprising details. At first glance, visitors will surely notice the beautiful cedar and Brazilian walnut deck, encompassed by a bright brick patio and adorned with a four-post arbor that houses an overhanging counter and cooking station.

While this is exquisite on its own, the relaxing ambiance is defined by the details: A remote-controlled awning and canopy, a rock and waterfall feature, a beautiful timber base for the greenhouse, and a crushed granite patio for the hammock that screams “relaxation!”

Our latest awards speak volumes about our dedication to the art of transformation. If you want distinctive, award-winning landscape design for your home or community, contact us today to discuss your needs.
